Moments that shape us.

Often I feel like photographs work sort of like a time machine. I remember curling up on to laps for stories. I remember tucking books under my pillow, so when I was being read to at bedtime I could pull out another, and another, and another. It was a very special thing. Some of the stories I was read as a child I still remember. If I close my eyes and really think about it I can hear my Grandmother's voice echoing in my mind. I still know what some of the books smelled like! (I'm not weird, don't judge me. That is a thing!)

There are a zillion school pictures of me. Baby at 3 months, 6 months, one year. The whole bit. But THESE are the images that pull me in. The ones I can still feel. The ones that captured my life. The setting, the people who took care of me. the memories that shaped me. And Im grateful for all of the moments and the images like this one so that I always have a way back. Im always inspired by these types of images.

Here are a few of our story routine.
